HEADSHOTS
PARAGON INSURANCE HOLDINGS
A few examples of the thirty headshots shot on location at Paragon’s annual corporate retreat in Vermont.
MINTZ + HOKE
A series of headshots taken at the company’s corporate offices in Connecticut.
BRUNCHTIME STORIES
I brought the studio to a restaurant in New York for these headshots at a women’s networking event.
TOURISM CONFERENCE
Another project where I brought the studio — this time to a cramped showroom floor of a professional conference. I was an exhibitor for my wildlife tour company and was given a small corner next to our booth. With a few lights and a bit of improvisation we turned it into a working portrait studio for the afternoon. Professional headshots don’t require a full studio — just good light, a relaxed environment, and a little direction to help people feel comfortable in front of the camera. These quick pop-up headshot sessions are actually some of my favorite assignments. I often bring a portable setup directly into offices so teams can update LinkedIn and website photos without anyone needing to leave work for the day.
PORTABLE STUDIO
No matter where you are, I can meet you there and quickly create a makeshift studio. These headshots were taken in a small room in the model’s home after a quick lighting and backdrop set up.
OUTDOOR HEADSHOTS/PORTRAITS
Call it a headshot, call it a portrait. Sometimes clients prefer their profile picture without the backdrop or the studio.
WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENTALS
Bringing a bit of the office/workplace into the frame, either in a subtle way or more overtly, can add context and personality to company headshots.
